Cloud Cover and Fire Behavior

Predictive Services and the National Weather Service recently issued a poster that depicts cloud types and the potential impacts on fire behavior. This poster looks very useful and could be used for basic fire training in fire behavior and weather. For example there is a picture of a mature thunderstorm and below the picture it indicates potential effects on fire behavior which is:
"strong downdraft winds, lightning, heavy rain, and hail possible underneath- Distant terrain channeling winds and lightning possible". It might also be a good poster to print out and post on a bulletin board, where firefighters can view and discuss it.
